Job Description :
Prepare CHINESE meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) for 400-600 people daily, 5 days in a week
Will cooperate with the Western/Indonesian food chef
Setting /Creating /Developing Menus, and DIRECTLY INVOLVE in food preparation & cooking
To be able to maintain complete control of the kitchen at all times and to command the respect of his / her kitchen staff
To be able to spot problems and resolve them quickly and efficiently, maintain a levelhead, and delegate many kitchen tasks simultaneously
To be in charge in maximizing the productivity of the kitchen staffand conduct training as well
Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards in theworkplace
To ensure that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and to see that any problems that arise are rectified immediately
Controlling all things related to the kitchen operation to meet the cost efficiency and maintain it to our standard costing
Establishing and maintaining a good relation with guests
He/She will be posted in Jakarta – Indonesia.
Qualification :
Nationality : China / Singapore / Hongkong / Taiwan
Male/Female, age between 35 to 45 years old
Highly expertise in CHINESE FOOD is a must (for example : able to prepare and serve FRESH LA MIEN etc)
Minimum 5 (five years) experience in the same position
Have a capability of FOOD-COSTING is a must
Have experiences in managing central kitchen and distribution system
Have a well written & spoken English and Mandarin
Out going personality and creative
Willing to work under pressure
Having a good leadership, Self Motivated & Hard worker
Previous hands-on, line cooking and recipe development experience is a must
Detail oriented, friendly & have a positive attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage all aspects of a commercial kitchen, including ensuring superior employee performances, high quality meal preparation & service delivery of all menu items (including prepare the La Mien etc)
Ability to maintain all department expenses with-in the budgeted guidelines
Ability to gain high customer satisfaction through understanding their preferences
Maintains a professional demeanor at all times, along with leadership skills, staff development & administrative paperwork skills
Works both independently & collaboratively
Exceptional team work skills
